2. How We Use Your Information

  • To display your professional profile to recruiters (when set to "Publicly Visible")
  • To enable recruiters to search and filter profiles based on skills, experience, location, and other criteria
  • To facilitate direct contact between recruiters and professionals
  • To improve our platform and user experience
  • To send important service-related communications

3. What We Display Publicly

When your profile is set to "Publicly Visible," the following information is displayed to recruiters:

  • First name and last initial (e.g., "Sarah K.")
  • Professional title, category, and skills
  • Years of experience and experience summary
  • Expected salary range (not current salary)
  • Notice period, work mode, and location preferences
  • Education details and portfolio links

We never display publicly:

  • Your full last name
  • Your email address (shared only when a recruiter initiates contact)
  • Your current salary
  • Your password or any authentication credentials

4. Your Rights & Controls

  • Visibility Control: You can set your profile to "Publicly Visible" or "Hidden" at any time.
  • Edit or Update: You can modify your profile information at any time.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only used within ProfileCart to facilitate professional discovery and recruiter connections.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage users to use strong, unique passwords.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
